** UPDATE! Looks like they are making room for some crafty/bookish vendors, so hopefully everything will be a bit smoother in our lovely MN bookish family!

* Right now my attendance is the question mark category as I have just learned on 5/18/26 they are not allowing bookish vendors (authors, bookstores, publishers, but no fun book doodad makers). This event was being advertised as having these crafty vendors here with us.

Some of us are checking into whether we can share our table with a bookish vendor (it's a 10' x 10' space, I will squish my books over and make room for a crafter/maker).

Folks, these fun bookish vendors are part of the fun of book fairs. We are their table neighbors and we support each other at book events ALL YEAR LONG. I cannot in good conscience attend an event that waited until now to say "oh we're not allowing that this year" and shutting these other creatives out. We are creative partners. Solidarity for the small indie folks out there trying to make it.
